Sarah combines her training in medical massage with a variety of techniques such as Swedish, sports, deep tissue, joint physics, craniosacral, and cupping. Each session differs depending upon your individual needs and requests as well as what is noticed during your massage and assessment.
Medical massage is designed to aid your body's healing process, working to increase your range of motion and decrease your discomfort. When your physician gives you a specific diagnosis, ask for massage clearance so we can team up together to achieve your recovery goals.
Some examples would be: Rotator Cuff issues, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Plantar Fasciitis, or addressing a concern pre or post surgery.
If you are on a workout routine where you are focused on performance, your recovery stage is essential. Whether you prefer pre or post workout massages, we will focus on the main muscles that work the hardest to continue your movement. With joint physics, stretching, and a variety of massage techniques involved in your treatment, we will work together to reach your goals for performance.
Has your neck been bothering you, excess stiffness in your shoulders, maybe your back or legs? This style of massage combines the therapeutic benefits of relaxation with deep work into joints and muscles. This may be your ideal style of massage if you like a balance of resting the mind and working the body.
Looking to get out of fight or flight mode? Relaxation massage is focused on mental rest. With massage techniques implemented to stay more superficial on the skin, you can tune into your body and rest your mind, without the noise of everyday life.
